Keith Mayfield is President and Chief 401(k) Officer at Planit Financial, LLC. He brings over 25 years of qualified plan specific experience to his firm, along with a genuine passion for providing exceptional qualified plan results for the plan sponsors and plan participants he serves.

Prior to forming Planit Financial, Keith spent two decades in his profession devoted to 401(k) planning, employee education, fiduciary consulting and teaching and training financial advisors on how to service their 401k plans. His career began in the 401(k) trenches, working at a Third Party Administration firm, a 401(k) sponsor support desk, an employee education specialist and a sponsor relationship manager. From 2000 to 2018, Keith served as a wholesaler and consultant. He guided financial advisors in understanding fiduciary issues, plan rules, employee education and how to implement industry best practices on over 1,000 qualified plans spanning more than 10,000 participants.

Throughout his career, Keith’s passion and expertise in this area has continued to grow. He is credentialed as an Accredited Investment Fiduciary Analyst, a Certified Fund Advisor and a Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor. He has succesfully completed ESG Investing for 401(k) Plans and also Nonqualified Plan Advisor certificate courses.  He holds industry Series 7 and 66 securities licenses and Washington State Insurance License.
